Want to be a beta reader for Geriatric Gymnastics: Flipping, Recovery and Defining Life on Your Terms? Read on!
Hi friends,
I’m excited to share that my upcoming book, Geriatric Gymnastics: Flipping, Recovery and Defining Life on Your Terms, is taking a leap closer to completion!
This project has been years in the making. It’s a memoir and reflection on movement, aging, resilience, and redefining possibility through gymnastics in midlife.
Now I need your help. I’m looking for a small group of beta readers—early readers who will get an advance look at the manuscript and give me honest feedback before it goes to the next stage.
What’s involved:
- You’ll receive a digital copy of the manuscript (Word, Google Doc, or PDF).
- I’ll ask you to read it within about 3-4 weeks.
- I’ll provide a short list of guiding questions in a Google Form to focus your feedback (don’t worry—you don’t need to be an editor, just a thoughtful reader).
Who I’m looking for:
- People who are curious about gymnastics, movement, resilience, or midlife reinvention
- Readers who enjoy memoirs and stories of transformation
- Supportive voices who aren’t afraid to be honest
What you’ll get:
- An early peek at the book before anyone else
- A thank-you in the acknowledgments section (if you’d like your name included)
- A signed copy of the book once it’s published
If you’re interested, reply here or email me at stacey.tirro@gmail.com and let me know. I’ll follow up with details and next steps when I’m ready.
Thank you so much for considering—it means the world to me to have this community alongside me as I bring Geriatric Gymnastics to life!
With gratitude,
Stacey

Looking forward to reading it.
Iris
